Conglomerate, nennt man solche Gesteine, bei welchen eckige oder abgerundete Stücke verschiedener Mineralien, einfacher und gemengter Gesteine, durch ein Bindemittel zusammengekittet sind, das theils ein einfaches, theils ein gemengtes ist. Conglomeration, conglomeriren, Zusammenballung, zusammenballen.
