Laodicea, Stadt in Phrygien, bekannt durch die Concilien von 363 (Verzeichniß der canonischen Schriften) und 476 (Verurtheilung des Eutyches, s. d.). – L. in Syrien. das heutige Latikiah, war durch seinen Wein berühmt.
