Adrastus

Adrastus, König von Argos; von Amphiaraus vertrieben floh er zum König Polybus nach Sicyon, seinem Oheim, dessen Nachfolger er wurde. Seine Tochter Argia vermählte er an den Polynices und zog mit diesem als einer der sieben Helden gegen Theben und war der einzige, welcher dem Tode entrann. Im Kriege der Epigonen half er Theben erobern und starb auf der Rückkehr in Megara.
