Aequi

Aequi, altitalisches Volk im latin. Gebirge, von den Sabinern, Marsen, Hernikern, Volskern und Latinern umgeben, Roms Feinde, bis sie durch Camillus gebrochen und im Samniterkriege fast vernichtet wurden. Ihre vornehmsten Städte waren Tibur und Präneste.
