Sie findet jedes Jahr im Frühjahr im Jacob K. Javits Convention Center am Hudson River in Manhattan statt und ist in Bezug auf die Größe vergleichbar mit dem europäischen Genfer Autosalon, der aber länger dauert und von größerer Bedeutung ist.
