Benjamin Ben Oxenbould (* 2. März 1969 in Adelaide, Australien) ist ein australischer Schauspieler und Comedian.

Leben

Ben Oxenbould hatte schon als zehnjähriger Junge seinen ersten Filmauftritt in dem Streifen Fatty Finn, wo er die Hauptrolle spielte, bekannt wurde er aber erst durch die Sitcom Hey Dad!, in der er von 1991 bis 1994 ebenfalls in einer Hauptrolle zu sehen war. Jedoch stand seine Rolle des Ben unter keinem guten Stern, da er den Schauspieler Christopher Truswell ersetzen musste, der durch seinen skurrilen Humor ein fester Bestandteil der Sitcom gewesen ist. Ben Oxenbould versuchte durch seine Tolpatschigkeit die Lacher auf seine Seite zu bringen, was ihm jedoch nur zum Teil gelang. Dennoch sollte die Rolle in Hey Dad! den Weg für seine weitere Karriere ebnen. So wurde er später Comedian und war unter anderem auch in der Show Comedy Inc. zu sehen.
