Das Automatic Volume Limiter System (AVLS) ist eine Technik, die das Gehör vor Schäden durch verschiedene Aufnahmelautstärken schützt. Sie wird in Minidisc-Playern von z. B. Sony oder Aiwa und in modernen Walkmans eingesetzt.
