SHARE

SHARE ist ein europäisches Forschungsprojekt zur Vernetzung und Nutzung moderner IT-Lösungen an größeren Einsatzstellen.

Unter Erzeugung eines Daten-Funknetzes soll es möglich sein unter anderem Einheiten per GPS oder Galileo-System zu orten und zu führen, interaktive Karten und Live-Satelliten-Bilder in der Einsatzleitung nutzen zu können oder auch einfach nur Sprecheingaben in einem PDA zu versenden und somit den Einsatzstellenfunk zu entlasten. Neben GPS/Galileo soll auch auf andere moderne IT-Lösungen, wie zum Beispiel UMTS und WLAN zurückgegriffen werden um ein mobiles Daten-Funknetz zu erzeugen.

An dem Projekt nehmen neun Partner teil. Aus Deutschland sind die Universität Paderborn, Siemens, das Fraunhofer-Institut für Intelligente Analyse- und Informationssysteme und die Feuerwehr Dortmund beteiligt. Die weiteren Projektpartner sind Telisma (Frankreich), Loquendo (Italien), die Aristoteles-Universität Thessaloniki (Griechenland), Tele Atlas (Belgien) und das National Centre for Scientific Research „DEMOKRITOS“ (Griechenland).

Das Projekt hat eine Laufzeit von drei Jahren und wurde am 1. November 2004 gestartet. Es wird bei einem Gesamtvolumen von 4,78 Millionen Euro von der Europäischen Union mit 2,86 Millionen Euro gefördert.
