Spunk

Spunk ist der Markenname für Salzlakritz und Weingummis, die von der dänischen Galle & Jessen A/S produziert werden. Die Lakritze ist klein, schwarz, sehr trocken und salzig.

Packungsgröße

Spunk wird in quadratischen 20g-Packungen verkauft. Die Salzlakritzverpackungen sind überwiegend schwarz, die der Weingummis überwiegend grün, jeweils mit rot-gelbem Logo und blauem "Spunk"-Aufdruck auf Vorder- und Rückseite. Die Verpackungen der Weingummis haben zusätzlich die Bezeichnung "Vingummi" in weiß.

Verfügbarkeit in Deutschland

In Deutschland ist Spunk fast ausschließlich im Norden erhältlich, häufig an Tankstellen oder in Discount-Supermärkten.

Das Wort „Spunk“ in der Literatur und in anderen Sprachen

Das Wort kommt auch in dem Kinderbuch Pippi in Taka-Tuka-Land aus der Pippi-Langstrumpf-Reihe von Astrid Lindgren vor. Dort hat Pippi den Begriff spontan erfunden und versucht daraufhin herauszufinden, worum es sich bei einem "Spunk" wohl handeln könnte. Zum Schluss wird ein metallisch glänzender Käfer danach benannt. [1]
