Die Stage School ist eine deutsche Schauspielschule in Hamburg.

Geschichte

Sie wurde 1985 in Hamburg gegründet und besitzt den Status einer staatlich anerkannten Ergänzungsschule im Sinne einer Berufsfachschule für Performing Arts. Gründer der zunächst unter Stage School of Dance and Drama firmierenden Schule waren die Schauspieler Volker Ullmann und seine Frau Manelle. Später gestalteten Kim Moke, Gillian Scalici und John Vernon Baer die dreijährige Ausbildung, die Tanz, Gesang und Schauspiel beinhaltet.[1] Die Stage School veranstaltet in über 25 Städten Deutschlands und in Österreich und der Schweiz Musical-Workshops, die die Aufnahmeprüfung ersetzen.

Ausbildungsinhalte

Die Stage School setzt auf eine Allround-Ausbildung. Inhalte sind Schauspiel/Basis, Schauspiel/Szenenarbeit, Schauspiel/Monologarbeit, Sprechtechnik, Jazz, Ballett, Modern, Stepptanz, Gesangstechnik, Ensemble, Gesangsrepertoire, Liedinterpretation, Einzelgesang, Chor, Musiktheorie, Musicaltheater-Geschichte, Abschlussprojekt, Auditionclass, HipHop, Musical Dance Styles, Pilates und Rock/Popgesang, Ensemble/Staging.
