Die Hauptstadt der Provinz ist Dangriga (ehem. Stann Creek Town) - weitere Städte und Dörfer in Stann Creek sind Big Creek, Placencia, Independence, Mango Creek, Mullins River und Hopkins.
Die Einwohnerzahl der Provinz Stann Creek beträgt 31.000 (Berechnung 2006). Der Belize Zoo befindet sich auf halbem Weg zwischen Belize City und Belmopan in der Provinz und ist der größte Zoo im mittelamerikanischen Belize.
