Barista Coffeehouse ist eine Kette von Kaffeebars in Indien mit Hauptsitz in Delhi. Barista betreibt z. Z. über 100 Kaffeebars in Indien, Sri Lanka und den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. Barista wurde 1997 gegründet, weil Starbucks sich nicht auf dem indischen Markt niederlassen wollte.

Die klimatisierten Räume der Filialen sind ein Treffpunkt für die Mittelschichtjugend. Auf TV-Geräten werden die neusten Hits aus Bollywood gespielt.

Im Angebot sind verschiedene Kaffeespezialitäten, Cookies, Sandwiches, Burger und Erfrischungsgetränke. Die Preise liegen deutlich über denen, die in Indien üblich sind, so dass nur Menschen mit gehobenem Einkommen in Barista zu finden sind. Einige Filialen haben noch einen kleinen Buchladen integriert. Jedoch verliert Barista Marktanteile an den Hauptkonkurrenten Coffee Day.
