Die Universität Canterbury (englisch: University of Canterbury) in Christchurch, der Hauptstadt der neuseeländischen Region Canterbury, ist die zweitälteste Universität des Landes. Im Jahr 2005 waren 13.555 Studenten an der Universität eingeschrieben (davon 2.453 internationale Studenten). Sie beschäftigt 680 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter.
