A9.com, Inc. ist ein im Oktober 2003 gegründetes Unternehmen von Amazon.com. Die Internet-Suchmaschine liefert seit Mai 2006 Suchergebnisse aus dem Internet von Windows Live, einer Suchmaschine von Microsoft, die heute unter dem Namen Bing bekannt ist (früher erfolgte die Suche durch Google). Besonders sind wohl die Karteireiter an der rechten Seite des Bildschirms, mit welchen der Benutzer den Suchverlauf betrachten, Lesezeichen anlegen, relevante Seiten ansehen, Notizen zu Websites anlegen, sowie nach Büchern (über Amazon), Bildern (über Google), Filmen (über IMDb) suchen kann, und mehr. Zusätzlich wird eine „Symbolleiste“ mit Merkmalen wie Hervorhebung, Seiteninformationen, Popup-Blocker etc. angeboten. Suchbegriffe können auch direkt über die URL angegeben werden.

Zurzeit arbeitet man an einer deutschen und französischen Version der Suchmaschine. Dazu sucht A9.com allerdings noch Entwickler mit entsprechenden Sprachkenntnissen.
