Betty Mould-Iddrisu

Betty Mould-Iddrisu (* 22. März 1953 in Accra)[1] ist seit Februar 2009 Attorney General und Justizministerin des westafrikanischen Landes Ghana. Sie ist Anwältin und erreichte ihren undergraduate degree an der University of Ghana zwischen 1973 und 1976. Außerdem hat sie 1978 einen Masterabschluss in Recht an der London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of London, erreicht. Zwischen 1990 und 2000 hat sie nebenberuflich an der Rechtsfakultät der University of Ghana gelehrt. Sie hat weltweit etliche Papiere und Artikel zum Thema Geistiges Eigentum veröffentlicht.[2] Sie hatte zeitweise eine leitende Position beim Commonwealth of Nations in London inne.[3]

Betty Mould-Iddrisu ist Mitglied der Partei National Democratic Congress[4] und die erste Frau, die dieses Ministeramt in Ghana übernimmt.[5]
