Bijlsma

Anner Bijlsma (* 17. Februar 1934 in Den Haag) ist ein niederländischer Cellist, der auf Musik in historischer Aufführungspraxis spezialisiert ist.

Den ersten Unterricht erhielt Anner Bijlsma von seinem Vater. Er studierte von 1950 bis 1955 bei Carel van Boonkamp am Königlichen Konservatorium in Den Haag. 1957 gewann er den Prix d'excellence.

Ab 1958 war Anner Bijlsma als Solocellist an der Nederlandse Opera tätig. 1959 gewann er den Pablo Casals-Wettbewerb in Mexico. Von 1962 an war er sechs Jahre lang erster Cellist des Koninklijk Concertgebouw Orkest. 1970 wurde er Dozent an den Konservatorien von Amsterdam und Den Haag. Als Gastdozent ist er der Berliner Hochschule der Künste, dem Conservatoire de Paris und der Juilliard School verbunden. Anner Bijlsma ist verheiratet mit der Violinistin Vera Beths.

Mit Vera Beths, dem Bratschisten Jürgen Kussmaul und - bei Bedarf - weiteren Musikern bildet er das Ensemble L'Archibudelli, das Streichermusik auf historischen Instrumenten aufführt.
