Bei der Abasie (griech.) handelt es sich um das Unvermögen zu gehen. Sie kann als psychisch bedingte Gangstörung auftreten sowie durch Erkrankungen des extrapyramidalen Systems (z. B. Chorea Huntington, Wilson-Krankheit) und des Kleinhirns (Ataxie) oder Stirnhirns (Gangapraxie) verursacht werden.
