BÖP

Der Berufsverband Österreichischer Psychologinnen und Psychologen (BÖP) vertritt als Berufsverband die Interessen der Psychologen in Österreich, wurde 1953 gegründet und hat über 3300 Mitglieder (Stand 2006).

Der BÖP ist Gründungsmitglied der Europäischen Föderation der Berufsverbände von Psychologen (EFPA), Mitglied der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Verbände deutschsprachiger Psychologinnen und Psychologen (ADP) und mit der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Psychologie (ÖGP) in einer gemeinsamen Föderation.

Der BÖP umfasst zwölf Fachsektionen (Rechtspsychologie, Kinder-, Jugend- und Familienpsychologie, Klinische und Gesundheitspsychologie, Arbeits-, Wirtschafts- und Organisationspsychologie, Psychotherapie, Sportpsychologie, Umweltpsychologie, Pädagogische Psychologie, Verkehrspsychologie, Notfallpsychologie, Mediation und Traumapsychologie), neun Landesgruppen und die "Plattform Studentinnen und Studenten".
