Bamberg ist eine Stadt im US-amerikanischen Bundesstaat South Carolina. Sie ist County Seat des Bamberg County.

Bamberg liegt an den Highways 301, 601 und 78. Wenige Kilometer außerhalb der Stadt liegt der Bamberg County Airport. Der nächste Bahnhof ist im sieben Meilen entfernten Denmark (South Carolina).

Die Geschichte der Besiedlung der Gegend reicht zurück in die Zeit vor der Präsenz weißer Siedler. Die Edisto, ein Stamm der Muskogee, lebten hier. Der Name der Stadt leitet sich nicht direkt von der deutschen Stadt Bamberg ab, sondern geht zurück auf Major William Seaborn Bamberg, der um 1840 nach Bamberg kam und dessen Großvater Deutscher war. Um 1890 wuchs die Stadt aufgrund des blühenden Baumwoll-Handels erheblich.

In Bamberg bestehen unter anderem die Behörden des County, ein Krankenhaus, eine Bibliothek und ein Gesundheitsamt.
