Group of Thirteen

Als Group of Thirteen, auch G13 genannt, wird in Kanada eine Gruppe von 13 Universitäten bezeichnet, die zusammen rund 500.000 Studierende beherbergen. Die zugehörigen Institutionen sind besonders im Bereich der Forschung tätig, und weisen zusammen etwa zwei Drittel aller kanadischen Forschungsmittel auf. Die G13, die bis April 2006 zehn Universitäten umfasste und dementsprechend G10 genannt wurde, nahm in diesem Jahr die University of Calgary, die Dalhousie University die University of Ottawa auf.
