Moulay Yacoub (arabisch ‏ مولاي يعقوب‎) ist eine kleine Stadt in Marokko mit 3153 Einwohnern (2004; 1994: 2726)[1]. Sie ist Verwaltungssitz der gleichnamigen Provinz in der Region Fès-Boulemane. Die Stadt liegt etwa 20 km nordwestlich von Fès. Sie ist ein Kurort mit einer Heilquelle, die sehr heißes, schwefelhaltiges und radioaktives Wasser liefert, das bei Rheuma, Haut- und Geschlechtskrankheiten angewendet wird[2]. Mittelpunkt des Ortes ist der von Pilgern besuchte Grabbau (Qubba) des Lokalheiligen (Marabout) Moulay Yacoub, in dem sich sein Sarkophag (Tābūt) befindet.
