Starfish

Starfish war die führende Schweizer Folk-Pop-Gruppe der 1990er Jahre. Mit subtilen Songs, die von Liebe, Hass und allen anderen Lebenstrivialitäten handeln, eroberten sie sich in der ganzen Schweiz sowie in Nordeuropa eine eingeschworene Fangemeinde. Hits wie Rain comes falling down und Three young ladies hatten grosses Airplay, und der Mundartsong Miini Fründin auf dem Sampler Ohrewürm 2 erhielt Platin.

1997 legte die Band eine künstlerische Pause ein, die bis heute anhält. Gründungsmitglied Tom Etter trat der wichtigsten Schweizer Band Züri West bei, Werner Fischer wurde ein Alumnus des renommierten Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. Jan Krohn, Bruder des Bestseller-Schriftstellers Tim Krohn, schreibt als Freelancer Texte für diverse Schweizer Musiker und Bands.
