Ultra Violent PØP, oft abgekürzt als U.V. PØP, war 1982 - 1997 eine britische Band aus Sheffield.

Die Ein-Mann-Band bestand aus John Kevin White, der vorher kurz bei den I Scream Brothers aus Doncaster mitgemacht hatte und für Gesang, Texte und Gitarre zuständig war. Er nahm 1981 erste Tapes auf und gründete die Band 1982. Diese war hauptsächlich in Großbritannien bekannt, hatte aber auch einige Rezipienten in Deutschland.

Das Lied Psalm von der LP No Songs Tomorrow von 1983 wurde 2008 von Anne Clark auf The Smallest Acts of Kindness gecovert.
