Achaius König von Schottland regierte von dem Jahr 787 bis 819.
Achaius ist die latinisierte Schreibweise von Eochaid. In manchen Quellen ursprünglich auch König Eochaid IV. von Dalriada genannt.
König Achaius wurde auch Herrscher der Schotten von Dalriada genannt. Dalriada war ein skotisches Königreich.

König Achaius von Schottland war Vater von Alpin II. In seinem Herrschaftsbereich gab es mehrere Burgen und Festungen in den gesamten Highlands von Schottland. Seine Hauptburg bzw. Festung war das Early Inverlochy Castle. Er ist Großvater von Kenneth MacAlpin, der gemeinsam von Pikten und Skoten, zum ersten König von Schottland im Jahr 843 regulär gekrönt wurde.
Kaiser Karl der Große und König Achaius vereinbarten im Jahr 809 ein militärisches Bündnis.
