Adil Abd al-Mahdi, auch Adil Abdalmahdi (arabisch ‏عادل عبد المهدي‎, DMG ʿĀdil ʿAbd al-Mahdī; * 1942 in Bagdad, Irak) ist Schiit und ein irakischer Politiker. Er ist Vizepräsident des Irak und somit Mitglied des irakischen Präsidialrates, dem auch noch der sunnitische Vizepräsident Ghazi al-Yawar und der kurdische Präsident Dschalal Talabani angehören.

Er gehörte einer Abspaltung der Irakischen Kommunistischen Partei an, ehe er sich dem politischen Islam zuwandte. Er ist der Sohn eines schiitischen Geistlichen, der zu Zeiten der Monarchie im Irak Minister war (also vor 1958). Seit 1969 war er in Frankreich im Exil, fernab von der folgenden Entwicklung des Irak. Er gehört heute der einflussreichen Partei Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq an, die Teil des bei der Parlamentswahl am 30. Januar 2005 siegreichen Bündnisses Vereinigte Irakische Allianz ist.
