Advanced Nuclear Fuels

Die Advanced Nuclear Fuels GmbH (ANF) ist eine Tochtergesellschaft der Areva NP GmbH. Sie produziert Kernbrennstoffe und Kernreaktorbauteile. Der Hauptsitz der Firma befindet sich in Lingen (Ems). Weitere Werke des Unternehmens befinden sich in Duisburg und Karlstein am Main.

Standorte

In der Brennelementfertigungsanlage Lingen, die sich unweit des Kernkraftwerks Emsland befindet, werden Brennelemente mit Urandioxid in Pellet- oder Pulverform befüllt. Das Werk wurde 1979 in Betrieb genommen. Bisher wurden mehr als 25 000 Brennelemente befüllt.

Die Anlage in Duisburg stellt Hüll- und Konstruktionsrohre für Druck- und Siedewasserreaktoren her.

In Karlstein werden Abstandshalter für Druckwasser- und Siedewasserreaktorbrennelemente produziert. Ebenso werden dort sämtliche Drehteile für die Hüllrohre hergestellt.
