Europe of Democracies and Diversities

Europa der Demokratien und der Unterschiede (EDU), engl. Europe of Democracies and Diversities (EDD), frz. Europe des démocraties et des différences (EDD) war bis 2004 eine europakritische Fraktion im Europäischen Parlament. Sie bestand aus Parlamentariern aus vier verschiedenen Länder, namentlich Großbritannien (UK Independence Party), Frankreich (Chasse, Pêche, Nature, Tradition sowie Combats Souverainistes), Niederlande (ChristenUnie-SGP) und Dänemark (JuniBevægelsen).

Insgesamt verfügte die EDU in der Zeit zwischen 1999 und 2004 über 18 der insgesamt 624 Sitze im Europäischen Parlament. Ihr letzter Fraktionsvorsitzende war der Däne Jens-Peter Bonde.

Inzwischen wurde die EDU durch die neu gegründete Fraktion Unabhängigkeit und Demokratie (Ind/DEM) abgelöst.
