Die beiden Albert Medals

Albert Medal heißen zwei britische Auszeichnungen zum Gedenken an Prince Albert (1819–1861), dem Gatten Queen Victorias.

Im Jahre 1864 wurde sie von der Royal Society of Arts ins Leben gerufen, um die Förderung von Kunstgewerbe und Handwerk zu honorieren. Ferner wurde sie ab 1866 für die Lebensrettung auf See und ab 1877 auch zu Lande verliehen, bis sie ab 1971 vom George Cross abgelöst wurde.
