Der Gallatin River ist ein Fluss in den US-Bundesstaaten Wyoming und Montana. Er ist der erste Zufluss des Missouri River.

Der Gallatin River ist 193 Kilometer lang und hat seine Quelle im Gallatin Lake südwestlich des Antler Peak (3.055 Meter) im Nordwesten des Yellowstone-Nationalparks in den Rocky Mountains im Staate Wyoming.

Er fließt nach Nordwesten durch den Gallatin National Forest und vorbei an Big Sky. Er mündet im Missouri Headwaters State Park bei Three Forks in den Missouri.

Lewis und Clark benannten 1805 den Gallatin River zu Ehren des damaligen Finanzministers der USA Albert Gallatin.
