Homer ist eine Stadt im Staat New York im Bezirk Cortland (Cortland County). Der Name stammt vom griechischen Dichter Homer. Die Stadt wurde 1791 von Joseph und Rhoda Beede und dem Bruder von Rhoda, Amos Todd, gegründet.
