Die International Phonetic Association [ˌɪntəˈnæʃənəl fəʊˈnɛtɪk əˌsəʊsiˈeɪʃn̩] (deutsch: Internationaler Phonetikverband; Abkürzung: IPA) ist der Verband, der das Internationale Phonetische Alphabet entwickelt hat.

Die IPA ist nicht zu verwechseln mit dem IPA, dem Internationalen Phonetischen Alphabet, das von der IPA entwickelt wurde.
