Die American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) ist ein gemeinnütziger Zusammenschluss der "highway and transport departments" ("Verkehrsministerien") der 50 US-Bundesstaaten.

Die Organisation mit Sitz in Washington, D.C. ist zuständig für Luftfahrt, Straßen, Wasserwege, Schienenverkehr und öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Er soll die Arbeit der Einzelbehörden koordinieren.
