Anna Christine Nalick (* 30. März 1984 in Glendora, Kalifornien) ist eine US-amerikanische Singer-Songwriterin.

Biografie

Nalicks Debütalbum Wreck of the Day wurde am 19. April 2005 in den Vereinigten Staaten veröffentlicht.

Die erste Singleauskopplung Breathe (2 AM) wurde in der populären Fernsehserie Grey’s Anatomy – Episode As We Know It – gespielt. Außerdem war es im Soundtrack zum 2006 gedrehten Kinofilm Griffin & Phoenix (ein Drama über zwei Krebskranke, die zueinander finden) enthalten. Das Lied wurde im Laufe der Zeit derart populär, dass mittlerweile über 5 verschiedene Karaoke-Versionen (unter anderem bei Amazon) angeboten werden.

Am 12. Juli 2008 wurde bekannt, dass Nalick an ihrem zweiten Album Broken Doll arbeitet. Das Album soll auch ihr am 1. April 2008 in den USA als EP veröffentlichtes Lied Shine enthalten. Shine wurde bereits zuvor am 28. Januar 2008 auf der AOL-Musik-Seite publik gemacht.

Am 31. Oktober 2008 heiratete Nalick Tim Foster in der Autumn Ridge Church Los Angeles. Tim Foster ist Fotograf und hatte unter anderem Fotos für ihr Debütalbum geschossen.

Am 10. Februar 2010 erschien die EP Shine in Deutschland mit jeweils einer Acoustic-Version der Titel "Shine", "Breathe" und "Wreck of the day".
