Margaret George (* 19. Januar 1943 in Nashville, Tennessee) ist eine US-amerikanische Historikerin und Schriftstellerin. Sie ist seit Kindertagen von fremden Kulturen fasziniert. Wenn ihre Recherchen sie nicht gerade in fremde Länder führen lebt sie in Madison, Wisconsin. Mit ,,Ich, Heinriche VIII." erzielte sie ihren Durchbruch als Autorin.
