Arcade Boot Camp

Arcade Boot Camp ist ein 1984 erschienenes Action/Geschicklichkeitsspiel für die Apple II Computer-Reihe. Es wurde von John Besnard programmiert und von Penguin Software vertrieben. Das Spiel stellte eine Art „Einführungskurs“ in die Welt der (damaligen) Computerspiele dar. Man übernahm die Rolle eines kleinen Soldatenhelms, der sich in fünf Minispielen bewähren musste. Dazu gehörte das Manövrieren eines Hubschraubers durch enge Schluchten, ebenso wie das Ausweichen des Spielcharakters vor fallenden Bomben. Je nachdem, wie erfolgreich man in diesen Spielen abschnitt, fiel der am Ende gewonnene Rang höher oder niedriger aus. Bedient wurde das Spiel per Joystick.
