Von einem Abortivei (Molen-Ei, Windei) (medizinisch: ovum abortivum) spricht man, wenn sich zwar die Plazenta, aber nicht der Embryo entwickelt. Meist folgt eine ovuläre Fehlgeburt bis zur achten Schwangerschaftswoche.
Eine Schwangerschaft mit einem Abortivei bezeichnet man als Molenschwangerschaft.
