3SS. Agnes et Discola, VV. (13. Mai). Die hhl. Agnes und Discola waren zwei Jungfrauen zu Poitiers in Frankreich, von denen die erstere Abtissin des Klosters zum hl. Krenz daselbst gewesen und von der hl. Radegunde, der Gründerin desselben (im J. 559), dazu eingesetzt worden sein soll; die andere aber demselben als Nonne angehörte. Sie starben im 6. Jahrh., und zwar die hl. Agnes im Jahre 588; was die hl. Discola betrifft, so ist der Tag ihres Todes nicht bekannt, es wird aber von ihr erzählt, ihre Seele sei vom hl. Erzengel Michael in den Himmel getragen worden.
