Antigonēa, ae, f. (Ἀντιγόνεια od. Ἀντιγονία), Name mehrerer Städte, von denen am bekanntesten: I) Stadt in Epirus am Celydnus u. einem Engpaß in den Akroceraunien ( στενά), zu Chaonien gehörig, Liv. 32, 5, 9; 43, 23, 4. – Dav. Antigonēnsis, e, zu Ant. gehörig, antigonensisch, A. ager, Liv.: Plur. subst., Antigonēnsēs, ium, m., die Einw. von Ant., die »Antigonenser«, Plin. 4, 2. II) Stadt in Mazedonien auf Chalcidice, nach Liv. 44, 10, 8.
