A'Beckett (spr. ä-bécket), Arthur William, engl. Schriftsteller, geb. 25. Okt. 1844 zu Hammersmith bei London, verfaßte humoristische Novellen und Dramen untergeordneten Ranges, von denen »About Town« (1875) 150 Vorstellungen erlebte.
