Symphoricarpus Juss. (Schneebeere), Gattung der Kaprifoliazeen, Sträucher mit kurzgestielten, rundlichen oder eiförmigen, ganzrandigen Blättern, kleinen, weißen oder rötlichen Blüten in kurzen, achselständigen Ähren oder Büscheln und eiförmigen oder kugeligen, zweisamigen Beeren. Acht nordamerikanische und mexikanische Arten, von denen S. racemosus Mich. in Nordamerika, mit weißen, sehr schwammigen Beeren, als Zierstrauch kultiviert wird. S. vulgaris Mich., der ebenfalls kultiviert wird, besitzt kleinere rote Früchte.
