Aporti, Ferrante, ital. Abbate, geb. 20. Nov. 1791 in San Martino dell' Argine, gest. 29. Nov. 1858 in Turin, wo er seit 1848 als Senator und Rektor der Universität wirkte. Er zuerst gründete in Italien (seit 1827) Kleinkinderschulen (asili d'infanzia) nach Fröbelscher Art. Seine Schriften haben die Einrichtung des öffentlichen Schulunterrichts in Italien nach modernen Grundsätzen angebahnt.
