Naïni Tal, Gesundheitsstation im gleichnamigen Distrikt (mit [1901] 311,237 Einw. [233,457 Hindu, 75,988 Mohammedaner, 1417 Christen]) der britisch ind. Nordwestprovinzen, am Ufer eines schönen Sees in den Ausläufern des Himalaja, 1945 m ü. M., mit Militärhospital und Militärstation und (1901) 6903 Einw., deren Zahl aber im Sommer, wo N. Sitz der Regierung der Nordwestprovinzen ist, bedeutend steigt.
