BRENTVS, i, Gr. Βρέντος, ου, ( Tab. XVII.) einer von des Herkules Söhnen, von welchem die Stadt Brentesium, die hernachmals Brundisium genannt worden, den Namen bekommen. Steph. Byz. in Βρεντήσιον. Cf. Paull. Merula Cosmogr. P. II. lib. IV. c. 32. p. 803.
