Καρκῖνος, ου, war ein ungeheurer Krebs, welcher, auf der Juno Veranlassen, den Herkules in die Füße knipp, als er die lernäische Schlange bestritt, von ihm aber auch erleget, dagegen von der Juno mit unter die Sterne versetzet wurde.
