Andrieux (spr. Angdrio), 1) Franç. Guill. Jean Stan., geb. 1759 zu Melun, wurde Advocat u. trat 1798 für das Seinedepartement indas Corps législatif, wurde nach dem 18. Brumaire Tribun, 1800 Secretär u. dann Präsident des Tribunals, von welchen Stellen ihn Napoleon, der ihm als freisinnigem Mann ungünstig war, 1802 entfernte; 1803–15 war er Professor an der Polytechnischen Schule, 1814 der Literatur am Collége de France. wurde 1816 Mitglied u. 1829 Secretär der Akademie u. st. 1833. Schr. die Lustspiele Les étourdis, 1787; Molière avec ses amis; Le vieux tat u. m. a.; die Tragödie Brutus, 1830; mehrere Erzählungen; La philosophie des belles lettres, 1828, 4 Bde.; Oeuvres, 1817–23, 4 Bde., 1828, 6 Bde. Auch war er Mitgründer der Décades philos. et lit., 1794–1807. 2) Bertrand, geb. zu Bordeaux 1761, st. zu Paris 1822, Graveur; schnitt Medaillen auf Napoleons Thaten u. a. Gelegenheiten.
