Chaldron (engl., spr. Tschahdronn), 1) englisches Getreidemaß, 1 Ch. = 4 Quarter = 26,45 preuß. Scheffel; 2) Kohlengewicht in Newcastle, 8 Ch. = 1 Keel = 53 Centner (à 112 Pfund), für Coaks werden 16 Ch. auf 1 Keel gerechnet.
