Choaspes (a. Geogr.), 1) Fluß in Susiana, floß bei Susa vorbei u. mündete in den Euläos, jetzt Karun. Sein schönes, klares, reines Wasser soll die Könige von Persien bestimmt haben ihre Residenz in Susa aufzuschlagen, u. dieselben führten von diesem Wasser auf allen ihren Reisen einen Vorrath in silbernen Gefäßen bei sich; 2) (Suastos, Gurţos), Nebenfluß des Kophen in Indien; jetzt Attok.
