Intercessor 1) (Rechtsw.), s.u. Intercession; 2) (Kirchenw.), sonst so v.w. Administrator; 3) in der ältesten afrikanischen Kirche derjenige Presbyter, welcher zur Leitung der Wahl eines neuen Bischofs bevollmächtigt war.
