Part

Part (v. lat.), 1) Antheil an etwas, so an einem Schiff, zu dessen Bau man Summen vorgestreckt hat, od. an dem Gewinn einer gemeinschaftlichen Unternehmung; 2) (Weber), so v.w. Patrone; 3) so v.w. Partei; 4) jeder einzelne Theil eines Takels, von dem Läufer, welcher von einer Scheibe bis zur anderen geht. Enkelter Part eines Taues, das einfache Tau selbst; liegen seine beiden Enden aber mit einer Bugt zusammen, so heißt diese letztere der doppelte Part.
