Nouschahr (auch Nowshahr, Noshahr, Noschahr (persisch ‏نوشهر‎)) ist eine Hafenstadt in der Provinz Māzandarān an der südlichen Küste des Kaspischen Meers, ungefähr acht Kilometer von Chālus entfernt.

Die für ihre Schönheit und das feuchte Klima bekannte Stadt ist ein beliebter Touristenort und Sitz mehrerer Universitäten und Hochschulen. Während der Regenzeit Mohammad Reza Pahlavis galt der Ort als „zweite Hauptstadt“, da sich viele Regierungsvertreter während der Sommermonate dort aufhielten.

Zu den hier ansässigen Industrien gehören die Schiffahrts-, Landwirtschafts-, Lebensmittel- und Bauholzverarbeitungsindustrien sowie die Stahlindustrie.

In der Stadt befindet sich ein bekannter Botanischer Garten. Außerdem verfügt sie über einen eigenen Flughafen.

Der private Fußballverein Shemushack Noshahr F.C. von Nouschahr spielt momentan in der Āzādegān Liga.
